Jaguar XF

The Jaguar XF is the flagship and the only luxury sedan from the brand for the Indian market. Jaguar F-Type

The Jaguar F-Type is a sports car that comes in both coupe and convertible forms. The latest facelift launched in 2020 comes with a complete makeover from inside and out. The F-type competes against the likes of the BMW Z4 and Porsche 718 Boxster in the segment. The sports car is known for its driving character and splendid styling.

Where the 2.0L engine takes 4.4 seconds for the 0-100kmph sprint, the one with a 5.0L engine does the same in 5.4 seconds. Similarly, the top speed is rated at 285kmph and 250kph respectively.

The performance is what you would expect from a sportscar. The engine offers a strong initial response and the vocals are pleasing. The power delivery is linear and you will never find this car out of its zone with excellent steering feedback.

The mileage of the Jaguar F-type ranges between 9-12kmpl, which is not bad considering the nature of the car.

Jaguar I-Pace

The Jaguar I-Pace is the first all-electric SUV from the British brand. The car was introduced in the Indian market in 2021 to snatch a share of the pie in the segment. The I-Pace challenges the likes of the Mercedes Benz EQC and Audi e-tron in its class.

Powering the I-Pace is the dual-electric motor setup on each axle, returning a combined output of 400hp and 696Nm torque. The electric motors are coupled with a 90kWh battery pack offering a 470km range (WLTP).

Charging can be done through either a 7.4kWh AC wall box charger which takes 14 hours for a full charge, or by a 50kW DC fast charger, which takes about 2 hours for a complete charge. The car can support charging up to 150kW.

Being an electric vehicle, the I-Pace is quiet and quick. The car feels agile during the drive, and with the AWD, it gets a superb grip on the go. The smooth and continuous power delivery, the imminence of response and the weighted steering are phenomenal.
